I attempted at the beginning of the year to create a blog for each of my classes. I soon found out that trying to teach the 8th Grade Communication Arts curriculum, grade hundreds and hundreds of papers, and keep up with 5 different blogs (plus the two of my own) was next to impossible.
I gave up, but after much questioning of my students realized that this is something I must do for them: a fun avenue to share our work, discuss different pieces of writing, and just be silly.
So welcome to Mrs. Heinz's Classroom. Here you will read pieces of writing from our "Weekly Spotlight" writer as voted on by myself and my students. You will also listen to some of our (non-explicit) songs and view some of the students' most interesting talents. I am going to attempt to update photos, insert videos, and be as technology advanced as possible....I am a child of the 80s, I should be able to learn!
Anyways, I don't have an interesting closure, but I do hope you enjoy this blog!

ReplyDeleteTo Mrs.Heinz and all her classes, I have thus far enjoyed the blog and will continue to enjoy it as I see more entered on to it. It seems that I will be seeing a lot of talent coming out of your classes this year Mrs. Heinz. Thank you for taking the time to make this blog and keep it running throughout the year. This will be a wonderful and fun outlet for your students.
