Thank you Mrs. Schreibeis!

My 8th grade students are working on descriptive writing with a "scary story" assignment.  To further demonstrate how imprortant description, figurative language, and word choice are, we are emplyoing the talent of Mrs. Schreibeis's high school art students from Yerington High School in Yerington, Nevada to illustrate these stories for us!  They will begin receiving our rough drafts next week and then use the drafts to compose a drawing.  Once my students are done with their final drafts, we will have an illustration to go with it!  To all of these wonderful students in Yerington, thank you from Mrs. Heinz's classroom in Kansas City, Missouri.
