New Project

I don't know why I do this to myself, but the students are working on ANOTHER project.  Meanwhile, I have the largest stack of papers on my desk that still need to be graded.  This is what we are doing this week:  Menu Magic!  Using their skill at description and writing with awesome word choice, my students are coming up with their own restaurant and a creative menu to go along with it.  On Friday, the students will be sharing their menus and snacking on some of their featured foods.  So far, the students are working well together, and based on the sounds of things, are having a fun time with it too!
